Throw out bearing chirping, carrier bearing

    2” lift, ARB front bumper, steel rear bumper, Trail Gear weld-on sliders, aFe cai, 2lo kit, air bag suspension, RA Motorsports AL skid plates
    Still trying to figure out how to stop the annoying throw out bearing chirp. Adjusted the clutch, helped a bit I guess. Maybe more adjusting? 273k km, apparently new clutch +50k km ago last year when I got it.
    Second question, how bad is it to drive with a bad carrier bearing? Also changed out last year before I got it, but there’s play in it, but no real vibrations or anything.

    There are a lot of threads out there if you do a google search for “2nd gen tacoma throw out bearing chirp tacoma world” a bunch will show up. I can tell you from personal experience though that I drove with mine chirping for the last 30k miles and when I replaced the clutch recently the quill was completely smooth and undamaged.
