    Over built iteration:

    V5 BRIGHT RED to 4 pin relay-Parallel to Headlight DRL Relay. Fused to battery.
    V5 DIM WHITE to 5 pin relay- Fused to PANEL circuit fuse.
    At IGN V5 are in parallel with Headlamp DRL. Dim relay has no power to actuate the coil.
    At TAIL/PANEL select DIM relay is actuated, but NO pin not connected to Dim wire, so DIM is OFF.
    When Low Beam selected, Main Body releases ground trigger to all relays here. DIM relay switches to NC and energizes via PANEL circuit tap.
    All this is as OEM DRL functions on Headlights.
    BAT add-a-fuse is "blank"-choose your source, I recommend Cargo 7.5A circuit.

    Man, my head is spinning. Anyone want to give cliffnotes or a simplified version for me (and those that can't wrap their head around these 10 pages)? Haha

    I've got the puddle pods installed. If I'm reading it correctly, my only options are:

    1. Just hook them up normally and only have the turn signals
    2. Wire the DRL to my power window area in the door? Seems pretty complicated but if not, I'd try it.
    3. Wire the DRL to the engine bay? Seems simple but a lot of work I'd rather not do if unnecessary.

    So what exactly does the extra connection from the puddle pods do?

    The DRL wiring wasn't too challenging. Took me about 4 hours to run the drivers side and passenger side from the side mirrors to the engine bay. The boot between the door and cab will be the slowest, but once you're through that, it's smooth sailing.

    Yeah I did this for the puddle pods back when I installed those. Wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be but also not something I’d want to do again if I don’t have to
