Thank you, that's the whole reason I got the truck to travel, explore the amazing country and of course do silly mods to it

for those following along at home I got a winch! I ended up getting a warn EVO VR 10s installation was a breeze and it is gonna be awesome also here is the fix I came up with for the torn radiator support where the hood release was connected to I took an old putty knife and welded it in and drilled a new hole to mount it up. It doesn't look pretty but it is nice and sturdy and the hood doesn't flop around. I had visions of it letting go and the hood flopping up and smashing the windshield at 80 mph. I have had that happen before on another car on the highway and feel luck to not have crashed I had to drive with my head out the window.IMG_5404.HEIC.jpg64316430825__58508241-3D30-48EA-82BE-2E45C2E089EC.HEIC.jpg

Next upgrade on my truck is the Marlin Crawler HD LCA frame Brace. these stiffen up your LCA mounts and help your truck hold alignment. Since my truck was a salvage title it had been in a front end collision and the tabs were bent so I spent a few hours bending and smashing the tabs straight so that I can weld them in.IMG_5648.HEIC.jpgIMG_5648.HEIC.jpgIMG_5698.HEIC.jpgIMG_5701.HEIC.jpgIMG_5630.HEIC.jpg

We are quickly turning into the White trash neighbors with all of our projects in the yard of our quiet suburban neighborhood. I also did lower ball joints and tie rod endsIMG_5627.HEIC.jpgIMG_5699.HEIC.jpg

So mountain biking is the whole reason I moved up to the PNW and when I got a Recon rack to carry more bikes I had no way to access the back of my truck. To fix this issue I fabbed up a swing out hitch for the rack so that I can swing the whole bike rack out of the way and access the back of the truck.

I was having issues with the camper shell leaking and saw that people had good luck taking off the bed rail caps and using that shiny aluminum tape to seal up all the holes and then sealing it up using weather stripping I am now happy to say that the truck does not leak.IMG_6410.HEIC.jpgIMG_6413.HEIC.jpgIMG_6411.HEIC.jpgIMG_6412.HEIC.jpg

I had this horrible front end clunk/ Squeak that was the reason I did the ball joints and tie rods SMH but it turned out to just be the front radiator body mounts. and 30$ later and about 20 min of time the issue was gone. I ended up getting these mounts off of Amazon and highly recommend themIMG_6393.HEIC.jpgIMG_6397.HEIC.jpgIMG_6396.HEIC.jpg
