One of my dad's long time hunting buddies managed to eliminate his index finger of his left hand with a 12 gauge. He was out of town for a few days (maybe on a hunt with my dad), his wife at the time loaded his 12 gauge and forgot to tell him. When he came home, he went into the closet where it was, grabbed the muzzle with his left hand, and for whatever reason, pulled the trigger (or maybe accidentally brushed or bumped it), and there went the left index finger.....

 

ok, what the hell? no fire, and that is lookin east, so it aint the sunset,and we didnt see the moon?

The old part of the house was built in 1923 as a hunting lodge for rich guys.
