Hey Fellow Tacos, As I previously mentioned, I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport n Im not a big fan of stock wheels n tires because they offset the look of the truck. So I always like them to have a wider stances n fill in the wheel well. I want to keep my TRD looking like a sport truck without modifying the factory lift. I want to go with 275/60R17 on 17×9 wheel with a negative offset of -12. I have ran this same size tires on previous Tacomas but with factory wheels with no problem. My question then is…will I have enough clearance? No rubbing when turning? Will they stick out of fender? If anyone can help or have a comment please advise. Thanks

I have -12 offset wheels with a 265/75/16 tire and they stick out ~1.5 inches. no rubbing before or after lift

I'm not 100% sure if a 275/60/17 will rub with a -12 offset wheel. If it does it'll most likely rub against the mud flaps if you have them

    Heres mine for reference

You definitely will lose the mudflaps, maybe an occasional rub even then.
My 265/70R17 at +12 offset leave a minimum 1/4" to the mudflap.
You'll be poking out another inch or so, which will show up when you turn.

I have a stock 2020 Tacoma with 17x9 -12 offset no rubbing I’m planning to go with a 17x8.5 -25 offset do they think I will have to do more than trimming to run these like a lift or something
