    Good morning. Headed out to get the truck tags transfered, talk to some folks on making some side money, and maybe a road trip. 65* right now and I think temp is supposed to hold lower today at 77*.

    Got some errands to do today and meeting transport as it comes through in wythville Virginia at 930 or there about. Hauling puppies this run so can’t really leave early oh well you can’t have everything. But I have permission to not come straight home they should know better by now!!

    Good morning, taking the day off. Leave Sunday morning for 3 weeks to a cabin on the North Shore of Lake Superior. I'm so not ready yet, still working on packing and fine tuning a few things.

    Checking Google Earth this morning on a few places in Superior National Forest that I haven't explored yet looking for 12-14 year old Aspen cuts that might hold ruff grouse. If it isn't NF it is usually State Forest in Lake and Cook Counties. A few small pockets of private land but not much and they have no electricity, etc. Stumbled across Google Earth view of this place.

    Took me a minute to figure out what those round circles were. Then I remembered I'm headed to sled dog country

    This time of year they start to work them hard towing an ATV in neutral to give them a workout on the roads and trails.

    Nearest vet to where I am staying is almost 2 hours away, always good to know where the vet is when running hunting dogs. She also owns sled dogs and is the main Vet for the Iditarod run in Alaska so she understands working dogs. But I hope I never have to meet her!

    FILB's! I'm sure I will have to navigate through my share of them headed North on Sunday.
