I have a moron report for you.

My son drives my Mom's old 2000 taurus POS. It was sitting for a while and the oil in the bearings on the ac compressor must have settled in the bottom. Sounded horrible but if you didn't turn on the AC it ran.

Yesterday he goes to the store and gets windshield wiper solution and put it in the proper place.
He called me and says, the AC is now working, it must have been the windshield fluid!

He got mad when I laughed

    Good evening everybody.

    Happy anniversary @Taco-Grinder!

It’s been busy the past couple of days for me trying to get grass mowed before I go out of town. I’m headed to Overland Expo East next week then coming back on a couple of dual sport motorcycle routes, the Mid Atlantic BDR and the Smokey Mountain 1000. Dirt, gravel, and secondary roads along the Appalachian Mountains. It’s been raining so the grass isn’t mowed and the trucks not ready either :annoyed:

    Thank you.

Wisconsin has a trail system very similar. Its called the T.W.A.T. Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail. Just over 600 miles.

    @Taco-Grinder Happy anniversary!

Midnight been going non stop shopping and packing. And working on the buggy and truck. About 3 hours past my bedtime and hurting but will be hurting more in the morning. No choice and will be a whirlwind tomorrow.

No need the BFH! Have one been carrying since the 70's the field mice tried to gnaw the handle where the salt from sweat transferred to the wood. Still works and works well. Something like this.

4 pounds and is called an Engineer's hammer for a reason LOL.

Why not?! They put class 2 buggies on full size trucks now

I would not personally but you may get away with it with a class 1 on your trailer. Could be interesting to say the least especially on the highway...

Convergence has its limitations in electronics and everything else. Just be careful! I'm old school and while you can tow 2 vehicles behind you here and up through Canada to the playgrounds for a total of 3 vehicles I am not a fan. One of several reasons I rent a cabin. And tow but I run a class 2.

Still better than an FJ in many ways

But because it is over 50" limited on some trails. Still ride is SO much better than the Taco and FJ and worth it

I may have been down a Class 1 trail a time or 2 and never had to stop because of width :anonymous:

They called today and Launa said somehow they double booked the cabin I stay in for 3 weeks in October for a few days. She said if I didn't mind staying in the cabin next door for a couple days she would knock off 2 days rent. Hate to move twice but also means I will likely stay a couple more days... OK I can do it. She and her husband are in their early 80's and been running the place since they inherited it years ago. Not many lodges on the Upper Gunflint Trail along the BWCA and they have been able to keep it in the family for more than a Century.

She called me a peach and pretty sure I blushed....

I’ve heard of that one too. Have a link saved to it over at Advrider.com. I’ve had thought a of a trip up that way, do the T.W.A.T. and the UP Trail along Superior. So many good trails to run, not enough money. Lol.

Good morning. 44 degrees here, with a high of 75. Off to Costco this morning to get my monthly supplies. They say they are limiting t.p. again. Hopefully it isn't as severe as last time when it couldn't be found at Costco. I had to go to Walmart and Amazon. I am going to have to have a talk with my grandson. I swear he uses nearly a roll every time. :spending:

    Morning all.
I went old school with my ride. ‘88 Polaris Trail Boss 4X4. 250 2 stroke. Ether required to start and clears the area of all mosquitoes… :anonymous:

CT doesn’t have any legal trails to ride unfortunately. The Hilliard clutches tend to grab one side or the other without reason every once in a while. Keeps you on your toes.
