Replaced the lower oil pan, filled with 5.5quarts I have the 4liter. Oil level is now bellow the fill line down to the part of the dip stick that twists. Has anyone experienced this?

Is it above the cold fill line? Should be two lines, I'd expect your oil to be at the cold fill line.

That was one hell of a smash to your pan BTW. I bet that got your attention when it happened lol

Well yeah because you lost oil that would otherwise stay in the pan despite an oil change.

Top it off. Drive it some miles and then recheck the level.

It’s below the fill line so I’m putting more oil in. The pan was also off all night so it was dripping for a few hours. The oil pick up was still dripping this morning.

haha yeah quite the clunk, the wife didn’t like that.

Yeah you are probably fine. Keep an eye on it but they have "dry" fill spec for a reason vs standard oil changes.

Double check and make sure your dipstick tube is fully inserted, if it is not seated all the way, then you will get erroneous low oil readings, when, in fact, it is fine. Disregard if it is fully set....
