I just bought a fog light system from Diode Dynamics for my new 2021 Tacoma, also bought wiring harness for plug and play because the truck didn’t come with fog lights. Install was easy, lights don’t work, checked the relay and fuse, has a switch on the column. What am I missing?

Did you make a solid ground connection?

Truck has factory wiring, therefore didn’t need solid ground connection, has a relay and fuse as well, I’m no dummy but I fell like it.

They might just be plugged in backwards. If you read the instructions they tell you if the lights don't work, unplug them and flip the connector around. I don't know why the plugs wouldn't be polarized, but they apparently aren't.

Make sure your headlights or at least running lights are on, or the fogs won’t come on. They’ll only work with low beam

Redcorn66, can I ask what the final solution was to your problem? I'm going to look to see if my truck came prewired for fog lights

So I am attempting this today, my 2021 has an airbag in the dash portion I’m removing to expose the harness. Anything special I need to do prior to remove this.

    What are you doing?
If the light stalk doesn't have the fog select option you need to:
    1. Remove the stalk and replace with one that does.
    2. Add a dash switch with missing wire and terminal at connector M6 position 26.
