What’s up, new to the forum and modding in general. I just installed this bumper today and I’d like to know what suspension up grades anyone would recommend to offset the 150 pounds I just added to the front end. Currently on stock suspension and it’s handled it like a champ but I don’t want to take my factory shocks for granted for too long.

150lb for that silly shit? JC! Is that with the winch? At least it will only get lighter at it rusts.

Higher rate springs and shocks that are appropriate to control them and the weight. Take your pick, there are dozens to pick from.

Welcome to the clan. Before you look at specifics, you need to decide what the ultimate goal for you and this truck is. What you plan to do with it, how much time you plan to spend off the pavement, forest roads or more advanced trails, etc. You can spend $500-5000 on easy to install suspension. If the trucks going to spend 95% of its life on the pavement, a quality, lower priced strut/shock combo would be more than sufficient. Trails here and there, comfort of driving it daily, maybe a little more quality coil-over without reservoirs would be a good fit. If you plan to add more armor and gear, spend more time on the dirt, I’d spend more money on a good set of coil-overs with reservoirs and control arms. You’re going to get all kinds of answers in this thread, some better than others. I would recommend searching in the “suspension” forums here and just doing some reading. Good luck
