I am new to Tacoma World.
Just sold my 2008 SR5 and put deposit on a 2022 TRD Off Road to be manufactured on or about October 6th.
My previous Tacos had hard toppers/caps but this time considering a tri-fold tonneau cover.
    Questions:
    1. can I drive with tonneau cover in fully opened position w/o damaging the cab. Example when carrying a riding mower/snow blower/motorcycles.
    2. what features should I look for?
    3. just how secure are they when locked?
    4. if built on 10/6/21 how long until delivered in NYS?
    Thanks in advance.

If the tonneau cover is one of those tri folds there is a strap on each side to hold them into place while you drive.
