Hi, I was wondering what would happen if I remove the front sensor that’s on the Toyota logo, I bought a grill not knowing my Tacoma it really have the sensor on the logo, and the grill that I bought it doesn’t have any space to put the sensor. Thank you
And sorry for my writing errors, but English it’s not my first language :(

You'll likely get a lot of errors and certain Toyota Safety Sense and/or Adaptive Cruise Control features will be unavailable since the sensor is disconnected.

Agreed. You're better off returning the grill, unfortunately.

So the trucks that run that grille are 2016-2017 model years only. 2018+ got the sensor, so when you're buying, you need to check to make sure it supports that sensor.

Very few aftermarket grilles do, that's why you see so many TRD Pro and Pro-clone grilles, because it supports it.
