Have a quick question regarding Icon add a leaf. What is the best way to remove the rear spring clip in order to install the add a leaf? Have the outside ground off, but the clip won’t come off.

You have to grind the pin on the bottom off that holds the clip on.

We finally ended up doing that. Didn’t look like it was going to come off, bet we got it. Thanks.

How about the lower brake line bracket, where does it reattach? If you move it to the new shackle bolt, it seems like it’s stressing the brake line.

After looking at some other posts here I zip tied mine lower on the clamp. Planning to check it routinely and maybe fab up a more permanent 'drop bracket' that mounts to that bolt. Honestly the bracket seems less critical post lift, so anything that doesn't kink is probably fine.

Fatback, I realize that. There is no bracket or anything to fasten the old brake line to the new add a leaf system.
