$20 and less than thirty mins to do map, dome, and reverse lights.
All of them worked fine. Map light had to be installed just right or it flickered

Now I just need to decide what to get for the headlights

Today, I replaced the grille on my 2021 SR5 with a TRD Pro grille + raptor lights.

I know it's a cliche mod, but it really does improve the truck's look quite a bit, imo.

Doing my every six months wax removal and application tomorrow on the Tacoma. Thought I should also change the wiper blades. I’ve read silicone ones are the best. Any recommendations on brand? Thanks

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
Put together my winter alloys with GoodYear ultragrip studded winter tires. Got them from old buddy, they have 12/32 (new ones is 14/32"), he switches to 35" wheels and don't needs them anymore.
I met GoodYear ultragrip 300, first winter tire in the world with directional tread. 30 years ago, they were working well on packed snow/ice secondary highways in Finland and northern Russia.
(Car back in then was a Volvo 740 TWR, supercharged and rear wheel drive, well overpowered). Those tires were work like magic, including the amateur ice racing competition on Ivalo lake, Finland.
Tires I put together yesterday is a development of ultra grip line, VERY DIRECTIONAL and VERY STUDDED. Size is 265/65 R17. IMG_20211002_132318.jpg Let's see, looks promissing for me.

Oem blades are the best if you have the original stock housing.

I'd also recommend Bosch if I was switching from the OEM blades.

I was seriously contemplating asking my wife if we could have our toddler try to pull the bulb out when I saw the tape gun on my work bench

Yeah you would have to have miniature fingers to pry those suckers out without tape

I could’ve done it faster, but I can’t use my right thumb due to a nasty cut that left me with 8 stitches. Im sure the arthritis made it even less fun putting these on. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, though.

Just pull down the whole unit and the socket comes out with a quarter turn with the bulb in it from the other side. Takes 2 minutes.

I used 4 pulleys (1 at each corner), and kept the 4 lines separate until attached to the winch. I used 2 double pulleys to keep the lines separate at the first corner, then attached to an electric winch line that was doubled up. This was easier for me and allowed more up and down travel

I had two mother in laws. o_O
1st one asked me to go to the liquor store to get Gin twice a week and mowed their lawn which scored points with father in law.
2nd one thought I hung the moon. Her only son was a drug addict and stayed in his room all day. The father in-law served 30 yrs in the Air Force. I was in Army Helo guy at the time. Damn all he talked about was Golf. He doesn't even drink beer.:boink:

OHH yes, you scored points today.

I was thinking about doing that as well this week. Temps are good and no rain for the next few days. That will do the winter months here. A good Dawn dishwashing soap bucket handwash followed by an application of Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic wax.
