I wired mine to a switch and with DRLs on I get hyper flashing on the passenger side and after about 18 flashes on the driver side I get hyper flash. But only happens when the engine is running. When the engine is off everything works great.
But when I do get hyper flash it’s the headlights, rear and mirror.

    Yeah, hyper flashing. My b

All of the passenger side does it. Driver's side is good to go, with the exception of the non-functioning LED's. Gonna swap out my stage 1 taillights and see what happens.

    Current setup:
    OEM 2020+ LED headlights
    MESO V5 turn signals
    MESO stage 1 taillights

    ***EDIT***
Ok, I read @daveeasa's link where someone else had the issue. I tested the flash with ignition on but engine not running. No hyper flash. I then removed my stage 1's, started the engine, and the hyper flash is no more.

The shitty part is, is it the V5's (particularly the passenger side) or was it the stage 1's? No hyper flash until a combination of. Guess I won't know until my MESO taillights come in around Christmas...

Same setup, no hyperflash. Do have resistors. Amber V5s. Will check white V5s again once the replacement comes in.

Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.
Confirmed with Meso that the V5s have built in resistors just like their other turn signal offerings.

Are you using resistors with the stage 1s also? If you are, try without the resistors

No resistors were installed. Could have helped if I did, but since I didn't have the issue initially, I figured it wasn't necessary. Plus, I already had a set of aftermarket side mirror turn signals before. No hyper flash until the V5's replaced the YotaLEDs side mirror sequential turn signals.

Finished the install late Friday evening right as I ran out of daylight. Stoked with how it came out and matches the Morimoto headlights. Took the long route wiring up to the driver side headlight with surprisingly little issue. The door boots we're actually super easy this time around compared to the puddle light install. Passenger side wiring was JUST long enough to make it under the dash, through the firewall and to the headlight harness.

Very happy to have these now and kudos to Stew for another awesome product!

I did a thorough exam of the V5s last night and discovered the driver's side has a few dead ambers and a few dead white DRLs. The Passenger side has a few dead ambers but the white DRLs on passenger side are bright, compared to the driver's side it's significantly brighter. I assume that the lights should be evenly distributed and there are some dim spots when lit. I contacted Meso and it looks like I'm in the same boat like some of you guys. Sent in a warranty ticket and we'll go from here.

Just installed the V5’s. I wired the DRLs to the plug that came off my Meso puddles. The DRLs are always on as soon as I start the truck and dim when I turn on the head lights. Is this correct and will it affect the lifespan of the leds running them like this? Sorry hope I’m making sense

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
This is correct. If you run your headlight DRLs during the day they do the same thing.

I thought if you plug the v5s into the puddle pod adapters the v5s stay on full brightness during ignition?
