Hey everyone! So up until a few weeks ago I’ve had no issues using CarPlay. Well the issue I have now is everything works fine up until I make/receive my first phone call. After that I get no notifications for calls or messages. Also, any call after the first one there is no incoming audio. The other person can hear me but I cannot hear them. Since the issue has started I’ve tried different lightning plugs and I have also upgraded from a 12pro to a 13pro. Have an appointment with Toyota tomorrow but I’d rather see if there is anything I can do on my end before wasting their time and time. Thanks!

Typically with stuff like this, there was a bug in a software update and Apple will get it cleared up. Make sure your phone and all apps are updated, and that’s about the most you can do. Toyota will probably tell you the same thing

Agreed, this will be on Apple’s side and Toyota won’t be able to do anything. The Tacoma is just mirroring what the phone tells it to do. 13s are still new. Maybe try signing up for the public beta OS, I have not had these same issues with my 13 pro max running beta.

Yeah everything is updated. I was running iOS 14 on my 12 pro when the issue started. Then went to iOS 15 when it released on the 12 pro. Now I’m running iOS 15 on the 13 pro. Figured if it was an Apple issue it would have been fixed over the passed few updates. I’ll Google how to run the beta and see what happens. Thanks!

I should also have stated if I turn the truck off and back on I can make the 1st call with no issues but after that call the issue starts.
