Hi all and thanks for any help here.

Have hardware for OVTune and a Tacoma 2020.

Want to purchase and download the latest tune for my Tacoma.

Can I purchase and download to my desktop (to save) and move the tune files with a thumb drive to my laptop for flashing?

This is my fist attempt at this and want to be sure I won’t be flashing with a corrupted file.

    Thanks for any input!

Your best bet would be to go to the vF forums.

But, assuming your ECU ID is 04B80 or 04B81, there is an update for 04B82 but no tune pack yet. It should be soon.

You can purchase the tune pack and will receive a download link for the files. Once downloaded you can copy them anywhere you like, even to a thumb drive to transfer to another computer.

But, because you're taking that route, it sounds like your laptop will not have internet. If that is the case, you will be unable to flash. VF Tuner requires you to have an active internet connection at the beginning of every flash.
