CRKT is awesome. I’ve carried one and used the piss out of it for bout four years. Been thinking of upgrading but it honestly still works great, just needs an edge on it.

Pretty much all the special edition knives for a given year are sold out. They’ll resupply and they’re gone again.

You’ll see them for private sale too—they do not last long.

TRM has been on my radar, I like a smaller EDC with a deep carry clip, most of theirs fit the bill. Someday when the stars align and they aren’t all out of stock!

You gotta pay attention to their IG they announce drops there. They only do batch runs of models and won't sell preorder or anything. No dealers either.

Got it good to know. How are they for blade play and centering?

No blade play in either of mine and the centering is great.

I didn’t realize this till a few weeks ago, but TRM are the same couple that own Halpern Titanium. Halpern has been making knife parts for a lot of the big name knife companies for a while.

On Instagram they post the date of there upcoming drops and then a day or two before the drop they will post the timeframe for the drop. I had to set a reminder on my phone for this last drop because I kept forgetting. I’d be an hour or two late and they would be sold out.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Phill, do you sell any completed knives?

No, right now I’m only selling scales.

I’m shooting for early 2022 to have my own liner lock flipper ready to sell. And by the end of 2022 I have double bladed slip joint I want to offer.

In the mean time I just finished putting together a new CNC machine and a Surface grinder. I have decided not to rush anything with my new machine and machine setups. I am trying to put a lot of forethought into the manufacturing setups so I can maintain the highest quality and repeatability.

I haven't had a chance to take a photo so the stock one will have to do. Spyderco only made a few PM-2's with tanto blades and I snagged one. Yes, I carry it.

    Like, so many.

Kizer Begleiter. It’s a Chinese knife. VG10 steel. Steel liners with micarta scales. Tip up carry. Liner lock. It was about $60 I think and I really can’t complain about it. Honestly, I know this might upset some purists, but China is doing some quality knives.

These were my late BIL’s. He was an Eagle Scout when he was a kid. They need a bit of gentle cleaning.EB7AB8F8-6A75-4A82-9129-6A956B1E12B5.jpg7DE55764-83AF-4B21-B5D5-E2BC72EC99EE.jpg

Oh man those date wayyyyy back like 50s or earlier. I have my grandfather's BSA bowie knife. It's not even close to that condition.
