Well, I learned the hard way. There is a taper on the wheel at the hub where it mates with the truck.
That being said, I now have some brand new wheels for sale.

There is a thread somewhere on here about another member gently filing down the flanges on the rear axles. This allowed him to install the wheels.

    Already sold.

Thanks, I think I came across that but just couldn’t justify doing that. Ended up selling these to a T4R guy and just installed the previous generation of T4R wheels (Ptr20-35110-bk)

Yes, it appears the 4Runner has slightly shallower hub depth and the wheels were designed for that. Somewhat surprising, but yeah. You can either machine the ID of the wheel to clear the hub, or reduce the hub height to clear the wheel.

Or, sell the wheels and run something else, which seems to be the way you went.

The replicas from Factory Style Wheels fit perfectly. Doesn’t have any interference with the hub unlike the OEM 4Runner wheels.001D03F7-A3E6-4486-A674-7D763FA6167F.jpg

Hi - I was referred to this thread. Do you know if these wheels will fit a 2nd gen?
