    Hang in there Jeff.
Hi the rest of crew. I was busy at mothers house today, throwing out much junk. Roach infested junk, almost a entire roll-off dumpster worth. It will be full by the time we're done tomorrow.

I've considered starting a side business renting roll off dumpsters, I could drop and pick up in the afternoons after my main job. Just a thought.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Depending on the price to dump them and going rates in your area you might make some money .

How much profit do you need to make it worth your time.

Sit down and crunch the numbers .

Insurance could be the deal breaker.

Do you enjoy moving roll off cans around cause in every business we all have those days we are lucky to not lose money.

I believe it was $70-75/ton last time I took a load here (Pa.).

No matter what the world runs short of, it won't be garbage, so from a supply/demand perspective, it's probably a good bet, assuming that the business isn't already sufficiently served in your area... the downside is a substantial capitol investment; you'll need at least one truck, and a few bins as a minimum to start. Probably $50K for a truck in decent shape, assuming you can find one with the correct rigging, and ~10K/bin...

The cost for the container being dropped off and picked up is $195.00 then like $50.00 per ton at landfill so sounds about right.

    Morning folks...:pccoffee:
Looks like I should take care of lawn chores today, burn some cardboard from miscellaneous stuff and possibly a few old logs that are getting rotten and just been in the way for a couple of years:anonymous:

I need some advice/opinions. I’m reshaping a gun stock and my electric drill isn’t spinning as fast as I would like, and yes the trigger is pulled all the way in! I’m wanting to use my die grinder but it’s pneumatic and the exhaust blows out to the front. I don’t want oil on the stock and I’ve always oiled the die grinder so it’s still gonna blow oil out. Any ideas on how to redirect the exhaust without buying a new tool for this one project?

Drill a hole centered same size of stem into a plastic cup then put sander back on

    Good idea!
Pack a few cotton balls or cotton cloth in the cup to catch any stray oil drops.

I missed that opportunity completely, must be tired... For only around $500 he could get a nice Foredom hanging flex drive kit -- top quality, foot pedal control, reversible. Foredom has been in business since 1922.

I may have done something similar before…
Maybe a water bottle cut down and some cotton balls, not sure why I didn’t think of that, maybe it’s because my kid is cranky and coughing and I had to go back out to Walgreens as soon as I got home
