    Hello,
I'm new to this forum and really hoping that someone can shed some light on this issue I've been having. This "low thumping noise" just started about 2 weeks ago and Im at a total loss for what is causing it. The noise is coming from the front end, or so I think. It only occurs when turning left slightly around curves and then when the wheel is turned all the way left, no more noise. It will not happen below 35-40mph and the "thumping" speeds up with the rotation of the tires. Does not happen going straight or turning right. First time I heard the noise I thought what anyone would think "time for new cv axels" however that's not the case. There's no (out of the ordinary) play in the cv's, end links, tie rods, wheel bearings, ball joints, nothing, everything looks good. Hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction as this is driving me nuts! Thanks!

Are you on stock suspension? Stock wheels and tires?

Appreciate the response. I'm running stock size tires, and has stock Bilstein suspension for the TX model.

Have you looked at the inside of your front wheels/tires to see if you can see any wear or marks where anything might be rubbing?

Wow now that you mention it I actually just took a look and there does appear to be a slight amount of uneven wear on the outside of the front right tire (which is where the general location of the noise seems to come from). I didn't even think to look because the noise sounds more severe than un-aligned tires but I suppose its possible. I'm going to rotate the tires and see if the noise persists.

The noise is indicative of something that is worn or loose or both. The uneven wear suggests that that's the corner to begin with.
