    Good Morning
Yesterday I stepped off the Ford Ranger rock and bought a 2021 Tacoma SR 4x4 Double Cab . From the moment I signed on the line for the 2020 Ranger I had a gut feeling it would be short lived. The truck was fast and full of tech stuff but overall I drove it thinking about the future of repairs .Plus the truck was quirky and never felt settled? I test drove the Tacoma on the same road I drove the Ranger to get the exact same ride compare. I was sold. Even it is somewhat barebone truck. My only concern at the buy is the stock Tacoma seats. Other than that I will pick it up next week. I will slowly ad a few mods but for now wash and wax and enjoy.I will update as I get some miles on the truck .

Thanks to all for the welcome. My Ranger 25,000 miles . Not terrible but just something that is hard to put your finger on. The motor seemed stressed and loud. . From day one the truck bucked and drove strange.
The deciding factor was when I met a 25 year Ford dealer mechanic. His words concerning the Ranger "Its great truck , It wont be so great when the warrenty is void and the problems start to surface" Tacoma is much more basic all motor set up.
I feel real good about making the switch.
