I inherited my brother in laws silver 2015 Tacoma TRD with 11k miles recently. Spending a lot of time goin over the manual and acclimating myself with the vehicle.

Just some basic maintenance at this point......oil & filter, Air & cabin filters, wiper blades. Just did a deep clean of the interior......bc smoker

I like that the oil filter is on top of the engine. My daily is a 2012 VW Golf TDI (3 pedals) with a top side oil filter so I have an extractor......though it looks really easy to crawl under the Tacoma if necessary.

Tires are original and still look decent, but have obviously dried up a little. I went to change the spare that was on the truck and the mcguard lug lock was stripping, so that will be my first project

Looking forward to checking out the forums and gaining knowledge!

    Mike

I changed the oil and filter last night (mobil1 5w30). I was pleasantly surprised by the drip catcher around the filter/cooler assy.......very thoughful!

My VW TDI & TSI have topside filters, but no catch

The other wheel was in the bed and have swapped it back and put the spare away.

Minor body damage to right rear bed and what appears to be a tree limb hitting drivers corner of cab roof. Other than that, it is pretty clean.

Getting real tags on Friday so I can start legally driving it around. I am in Annapolis, next to Rt50 east at Severn River.
