Can anyone give advice if 16x8, +10mm offset wheels will fit a stock prerunner?

I really have no clue to the +10 mm part.

Is the lug pattern correct? Did you read the wheel sticky? What size tire is going on the truck?

Lug pattern is correct. My 245/75r16's would be mounted on these rims.

I read all stickies and many other sources.

I just don't know if the +10mm offset on an 8" wide rim will fit.

    Aren't OEM +30mm offset?

I believe stock is +25, at least on 3rd gen tacomas. 3rd and 2nd gen tacoma prerunner/4x4 trucks are basically identical minus the body panels and some electronics.

Don't take this as your only resource, but +10 should work fine, especially with stock sized tires. It will move your wheels outwards 15mm per side, so 15mm more of your tire will stick out of the wheel wells than currently does.

I went from stock rims on my truck to 0 offset 16×8 rims, so it moved my tires almost an inch further out per side which is what I wanted.

When it comes to offset, the further positive it is the closer it moves inward towards the frame and the further negative it is the further away from the frame it moves them.

The fact that you're going from 7" to 8" wide rim should make little difference, and for what it's worth my truck came stock with the same steel wheels you currently have and switching to wider offset wheels with larger tires wasn't a problem for me. With stock sized tires you shouldn't have to worry about any rubbing either.

I have the flared fenders, so a bit outward won't really look like a skateboard.

Thank you for the response. I really appreciate it.

Do you know of any decent looking 16x7 rims?

The choices I've found pretty much suck.

I just bought the 245 Michelins, so I'd like to keep them.

This is the part Im unsure about as well. It would probably work fine but that may look a little off like you've said.

Tough spot having just gotten new tires.

OP, you will be fine with the 245. You can make change next time you need new tires.

That Ultra Maverick Wheel came from the dealership on my XSP-X Trim Package. The clearcoat was destroyed after a year. I got them replaced with brand new ones and gave them to my BIL. They were nice looking but the clear failing and the black turning smoky is pretty common on these. I got Black Rhino wheels after that and they were awesome. Now I have the TRD "Beadlocks".

The wheels will fit fine. 245 is little small for an 8” but you’ll be ok.
