I was on the Toyota configurator this morning and saw that the TRD Lift Kit is now available as a port installed option for $1450 installed. For those of you that don’t know, it’s TRD tuned Billstein 5100s with a 2” front and 1” rear lift along with the OEM Pro grill that relocates the TSS sensor.

While still not “cheap” is certainly is a lot more palatable than what I and others did of having it installed at the dealership immediately after purchase and paying almost $2500 out the door installed.

Just a heads up to those ordering a truck and considering it.

Where did you see this information? I went to both 2021 and 2022 configurators and didn't see a difference in price, part number or a mention about the labor done at the dealership.

What I’m saying is that prior until just recently it was not listed as a factory port installed option. You had to buy it from the dealership and they would install it to maintain the warranty if you added it at time of sale. Most dealers quoted 4-5 hours so around $1k with tax to install. Now - screenshot is from a ‘22 Off Road build - the port installs it so it’s on there when it gets to the dealership and there is no extra labor charge.

ahhhh, perhaps you’re right. I ordered my truck in March and picked it up in May so I don’t remember seeing it on the configurator at least when ordered it. Oh well, another expensive lesson learned. Lol.

Not bad considering this is all in including install and warranty. Also includes the Pro grille and TSS garnish. Still not a deal I would go with. They could have at least included an add a leaf instead of block for the rear.

nah man.... that’s TERRIBLE. One could do a King set up for about that budget. Or do TWO 6112/5160 set ups... WITH HS progressive AAL. just saying.

Are you considering the Pro grille and TSS garnish in that comparison?

Im not since I was just referring to the meat and potatoes of the deal which is the suspension.... I got my heritage grill for about $150 and don’t have a TSS

it’s all good though.... we all have different expectations of what a good deal is... some just want the quick and easy...

I might need into business installing these kits...

A port installed option could be reginal. So it may not be available everywhere.

I’m assuming they remove the fog lights for this option?

I would surmise their markup is huge. What people are willing to pay for things lol.
