    Keep those bump extensions tacked until you are completely done and can flex the suspension out and see. Then you can easily fine tune them. Trust me with as much frame flex and all there is on these trucks real world > forklift flex > math. The math gives you a good reference but from experience doesn't get you all the way there.

    Drive shaft rebuild day. None of the u-joints seemed bad, but we decided to replace them all while the drive shafts were out along with the carrier bearing:

    The yoke wouldn't slide off so we cut the carrier bearing metal part off so that we could tap the yoke:

    Then used a 3 jaw puller to pull the bearing off:

    We reduced the bump stop extensions to 1" and got the new shock towers welded on along with the lower axle mounts:
