Needing some advice on bulb replacement for headlights and fog lights. The bulbs are currently halogen bulbs. What sort of bulb upgrades are you all running?
    Thanks for the help,

There's a "LED vs HID vs Halogen" thread pinned in the 3rd gen forums by the incredible crashnburn80, plus a bunch of other super knowledgeable folx. TLDR with a easy mod you can run H9 halogens in your low beams (OEM is an H11 bulb). Do NOT put LED bulbs in your halogen housings. This may look super bright, but it scatters the light instead of focusing it like it's supposed to and you end up blinding all oncoming traffic. There are specific H9 bulb recommendations in the thread.

Crash has a thread on fogs too, but TLDR Diode Dynamics SS3 in Pro or Max output is what you want. Those get hot enough while running to melt any snow/ice on the lenses.

Appreciate the heads up. I went with a brighter halogen bulb instead of LEDs.

You made the right decision. Either that or upgrade the housings is also good. I personally don't like running LEDs out of halogen lamps
