I’ve been looking and see that Since 2009 The lsd was operated via the ABS system and not the differential. Checking to make sure i don’t need Any lsd additive.

Also how many quarts of Diff fluid will it take? And if I use full synthetic will i have to worry about the seals starting to leak?

Just replaced my carrier/3rd member with a new from dealer. 2010 4wd, but, build date is 09/09. Same as yours. Owners manual says 3.12 qts, 75w90 , GL 5. That’s also 2.91 liters, if you prefer. No, no lsd additive needed. My spider gears puked, and other damage, metal contamination in gear oil, so, first principle; wheel bearings contaminated, so, replaced those too.
    Yes, synthetic , super tech.

I’ve used Amsoil for years. No leaks, and I’ve never added friction modifier.
