Oem led lights trade

Found a guy on fb willing to trade his leds + harness for sr for my halogen lights. He's trading his truck in. He wants 800 on top. Is this reasonable? Attached are pics of his lights.

 

I would say no... 800 on top is a lot to ask when most are asking 200 for the lights and the wiring harnesses can be had or done for about 100

Ive got to keep a better eye out, I’d be all over a set over the OEM LEDs for 200… (depending on condition)

I mean these headlights go for around $1300. SR headlights aren’t worth a lot so $800 + the value of yours. I think it’s a reasonable deal.

 

I would offer your stock headlights and may 50 to hundred in top, but that's it. Other wise, pound sand.

Yeah I agree. Is a good deal. Ive never seen 2020+ leds go for $200....ever.

 

The guy is trading it in... if they check the headlights on the trade in, well that's on them (toyota and maybe the trade). I have never had a dealer check headlights on a trade in though.

 

I will low ball the fuck out of it, as I know what all other social media platforms are..... like having a yard sale or going to a pawn shop looking for top dollar on your item. Yeah... right.... not gonna happen unless its bnib

 

That's a deal I would jump on. Stock lights aren't worth much and the oem LED's are great.

 

It's a good deal, like others have said. 2020+ oem LED headlights are $12-1400, maybe more. Stock halogen SR headlights are worth beans.

The output on the 2020+ LEDs are amazing and world's better than the halogen stuff. I made the jump myself about a year ago.

 

You’re looking at close to $1400 for a set of LEDs/harness. Halogens sell for $200 all over craigslist. Pretty good deal

 

Well damn. Just have to wait for all the trucks with LED get totaled and show up at the junkyard.
