I'm trying to get my HOA to install some EV charging stations. They asked me to do some initial research on it before they get some bids. They will also need to get a maintenance contract. Does anyone have any experience with commercial charging stations? What kind of maintenance do EV chargers actually need?

Any odd things I should be aware of?

You’ll want one that’s a known network. Like chargepoint

look into them since they offer commercial quality / outdoor rated L2 chargers.

When I had my plug in hybrid I was the unofficial inspector / janitor / cord hanger-upper of the charging station at work. It wasn’t chargepoint, some weird off brand the power company put kn, green lots. But over the year and a half I used it no real issues aside from them figuring out a better cellular data connection for the location.
