Found on top of a ridge in eastern KY. Never found an arrowhead before but it looks a little past what nature is capable of.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I'm amazed at the lack of rust on that vehicle.

Insert old adage 'stuff back then just wasn't built the same, blah blah blah..."

But in all seriousness, it is pretty incredible how much old steel seems to hold up when compared to new. I've read about how the 'pre-atomic bomb' steel is a LOT stronger than post; pretty wild stuff.

No photos but lots of abandoned and burned out cars here in Hawaii. And not just the ones that rolled off a cliff but rather ones that were abandoned or dumped places. It makes me appreciate the DNR and other groups back in MI that keep our woods relatively clean.

Don't get me wrong, I still like finding cool stuff in the woods, but it is different when it seems to be everywhere.

I would imagine HI is a similar issue to AK.
No recycling centers/scrap yards to take stuff to.
Lots of places in AK are trashed with junk cars and old appliances because there's no where to take them. You could be driving along and just come up on a heap of dozens of refrigerators and washers and dryers just rusting away.

I'm sure that's part of it. But I've also seen car crashes and 3 days later one of the cars is still there. In MI that's towed away right away, but then again we do have scrap yards and stuff like that.

Found a FOB while on my morning walk around camp. Question is do I go around and randomly hit the panic button to see if the owner is still camped here?
