Does anyone have decent looking home-fab ideas for a subwoofer grill? I am afraid one of these days my kid is going to put something thru the driver!

I have a 12" JL Audio (12W1V2) which i paid $40 for on craigslist (included the box) And cant get myself to spend the $20 for the grill from parts express....

Any ideas welcome. Just a last resort before I buy the damn grill!
