So I'm wanting a gauge pod for my SC Tacoma. Boost and AFR. I see lotek is the only one I can find that's on the pillar but it says 05-09 but I think it'll work fine on my 12.

It mentions not recommended for trucks with air bags, mines is a TRD OR and I can't see any srs emblems on the pillar, is that safe to assume it doesn't have them or am I missing something?

I didn't want to mess with those questions, so I went with a Craven Speed gauge mount for my own gauges.

If you're dead set on the Lotek, pull off the plastic pillar cover to see if you have an airbag or the little gas canister that triggers the airbag deployment. If you don't, you're good to go. Should take you ten minutes if you're careful.

FWIW, I think the airbag is directly above your door. You should see a little plastic square that says SRS or airbag or something.

You don’t have A pillar air bags, you should have the side curtain airbags.

They run from the window down thru the A-pillar. Which is why Lotek rather absolve themself of any liability with airbag deployment wether it’s an issue or not.

Your are correct. Now that I think about they peel out under the bottom of the A pillar .
