I recently updated from a 2010 SR5 to a 2018 SR5. A lot to learn. My 2010 had a JVC HU with a extra USB port on a cable off the back that I put in the glove box. I really liked that you could plug in a USB stick will all your music and it was tucked away. Is there a way to add another port like above to the 2018 and still keep the stock one working as well? Maybe a splitter harness for the OEM harness?

Is there a specific reason you want this USB hidden away when the functionality you want is readily available via the existing USB port?

For example, you could just power your phone via the 12v port and stream via bluetooth while also having a USB drive w/ music inserted into the existing USB port, which simply adds an extra input source for you to select.

Barring that, you can just get a 2-3ft female USB extension cable, plug it into the port and insert your USB and hide it in your center console or some other location.

No, the entune USB port does not act like a hub so it can't accept more than 1 device at a time. My head unit had 2 ports, pioneer avic-8500, and used an adapter to connect the factory port to the head unit then installed a second port into one of the blanks and connected to the other.

Thanks for the info. It seems I'm not the only one who wants this same setup.
