Radio

Can I set my radio to return the audio after a phone call. Right now when a phone call is over I have to push three buttons to get back to audio.

 

Mine literally just goes back to last source I used

 

Same… is it a 2021 thing maybe?

My '19 returns to the last source when I hang up.

 

Never been an issue here ('21 OR - stock radio using carplay or not)

 

Using car play, Apple phone. I receive or make a call with the radio on I have to push the Audio button then Source button, then FM icon to get the ray back on. Driving me crazy!

 

It only does it on Apple CarPlay. Without it if I get a phone call it goes back to radio

 

That's odd. I use Android auto and sometimes just Bluetooth and mine will always go back to the last source when I hang up connected either way.

 

From what I can tell anytime you phone plays audio while connected to CarPlay the source changes to your phone and you have to manually change it back. I haven’t found a way around it.

It’s especially annoying when my wife’s phone is connected to charge and provide maps and she is scrolling through Facebook or Pinterest. Audio constantly changes to the phone every time a video starts.

 

This is also true with android. If I play a voicemail on my phone while plugged in it will change the source and yes I have to change it back to XM manually. This doesn't happen if I place a call or receive one though.

 

On my 2021 whether it's a voice call or a text it goes back to the audio source it was on before the event. Never been an issue since day one. I should add this is with the imbedded head unit functionality, not CarPlay.

Always reverts back to whatever it was on after calls or texts. I’m always playing Pandora or listening to a game or something.
