Paid education and promotions sound like a pretty good company to get in with. What's the field?

If you enjoy fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, climbing, hiking or wheeling I promise you this area is about as close to paradise as you'll find in the US. The shear amount of resources available within a 4 hour drive is insane.

 

Well summed up. the traffic is shit now. What used to take 10 minutes can take upwards of 45 now. Housing boom has helped me if I was willing/able to sell and get a new place. Friend from the bay can't believe how bad the rent prices here have become.

Oh, and the winters are usually good. My "good" is lots of snow and taking time off work to ski..like all the time.

 

That's way more than they're worth...you can't even put hotels on them...

You get used to the altitude quick. It's not high enough up to cause any issues, and when you head back to sea level you feel like you can run a marathon. You will start sucking wind the first time you go skiing for the year if you've been a lazy shit all summer though.

 

A friend just went to colorado for a week...

Gotcha, that'd be either Renown or St Mary's, both are over there.

That's a good spot to be, you can live almost anywhere in Reno and get there within a half hour.
