Dropped my truck off this morning for a frame inspection/spray/plug kit, and got a nice 2021 Tacoma SR5 as a loaner. Loads of tech in this thing...tons of stuff I'd like in mine (dual zone climate control, power rear slider), and a bunch of nanny shit I'd never want (lane departure, collision avoidance). Nice rental, but I'll stick with my '15 for now.

 

Lane departure turned off within the first 30 minutes of driving and I ignore its existence. Collision avoidance has only ever caught some shadows of bridges as a false positive. I DO like the adaptive cruise but would be fine without.

2021s started doing the dual automatic climate BS on all trims. I got a 2020. That was one thing I did kind of like in my old mazda - set auto 70° and never touched a damn thing - all year forever.

Hey side question, on the half baked tour last year, we went past Ramunto's in bridgewater. Can't remember if the reviews was good or bad.

 

I didn't look at how to disable LDA, but I did find the sensitivity and turned it down all the way.

Ramunto's Pizza is pretty damn good. Worth stopping if you're in the area and hungry.

 

We have a Ramunto's about 10 minutes away (North Adams) and order from them a lot. Their spinach artichoke dip is great! Though the Bridgewater menu looks a lot smaller than ours - we have lots of pasta and burger options in addition to what Bridgewater shows.

I think Bennington is the original location.

3 year old has been home sick since Monday. Finally good weather today so took them out for some fresh air. Hit capron Park, then pierce Beach, and ended up trying to hit the Taunton trail, only to decide to turn around due to lots of water lol

At my mother's house you can hear the animals from the zoo at night.

That is true. The Lions get very vocal there. Unlike the ones at Bush Gardens but you can get VERY close them!

 

My oldest would go crazy. She's obsessed with lions. She's been to Caprom park a few times and we did Southwick this summer and she lost her mind.
