    That works!

I installed my Aussie J60 inclinometer before getting a GFC & without thinking about the leveling function, but it has definitely come in handy too!

Looks great. Did you mount using 80/20 (or equivalent) extrusions?

Also what precleaner do you have installed on your dorkel?
I've been poking around for something that does a little better than the Safari ram head and I like the look of yours.

I built my own rack using someone's plans from gfc forum. But yes, its 8020 extrusion.

As for the precleaner, its from Enginaire. I believe its a 4" with a plumbing adapter down to 3.5"

I've been messing with aluminum extrusions all year building (and rebuilding) a drawer box and a fridge slide. The best piece of advice I can offer so far is to keep the frame as simple as possible!
In your design, that would mean using longer extrusions that run the entire length of the box instead of breaking it up into shorter pieces. The extrusions themselves are pretty cheap (especially from Tnutz) but the corner pieces and joining plates add up really quickly, so try to minimize the number of corners and joints.

Feel free to PM me for more in-depth info and with any specific questions. I've spent WAY too much time trying to build out the back of my truck this year since getting the GFC.

I got the 36 foot one just because I wanted the flexibility to remount it elsewhere if I ever decided to but you could probably get away with 16

This is awesome. I must have missed this mod, saw somewhere on the GFC forum that this was attempted but did not see the results. Mind sharing the source of the plugs and install deets? I just posted on the other forum a solution for my bottom frame problem; was not properly draining and filling with water. I remedied the situation by pushing the bulb seal back slightly to expose the drain holes at the bottom edge (silver aluminum caps). Drains properly now.

Anyone know if the width of the back seat bunker (56" length on website) fit the standard GFC well?

I had to chop the pole that keeps it rigid at the top down by about 2”. Relatively simple operation and the storage space is one of the most useful GFC mods I’ve done.
