Immediate mods are the tonneau cover and airbags and that’s about it for now. Would also like a scangauge for monitoring trans temps, tow mirrors and aux transmission cooler ($1000 setup, yikes).

All electronics installed and function checked. Getting close to being able to run it!20211010_130515.jpg 20211010_130519.jpg

Started welding some of the slider parts. Seems to be able to heat up the base 1/4" piece well. Now the only issue is I can only weld 1-3/4"-2" before popping the breaker lol. Getting a tad bit of undercut, so may back of the sauce and maybe that will fix both

Yeah if you’re getting a little undercut and that heat coloring, you look a little hot. Tripping the breaker was the same issue I used to have with the titanium. Oddly enough, the Vulcan doesn’t have that problem even when on 120v.

That’s the only thing that makes sense. I would even trip a 20a circuit with it on long welds. Now, no issues with the Vulcan on a 15a.

Yeah I'm tripping a 20amp now. Ended up turning it down a bit and going a tad faster since I was going snail pace. Got the rest of them welded up. The next the next weekend I have time, I can finish getting them on the frame.

My dryer is awfully close to the back concrete patio that I weld on, so make me want to splurge for a 220 machine, but that might not really be in the cards right now

WDH's are a game changer! Not only do they shift some weight to the front axle and help level out the tow vehicle when set up right, but the sway control they also provide is invaluable. I will never tow anything mode than my SxS without one. I really like the Equal-i-zer brand myself. Have a 10k lb one on our new 24ft TT.

Everyone I speak to who uses a WDH says something similar. Apparently even auto manufacturers recommend them for over 5k lbs when pulling from the bumper (vs gooseneck or 5th wheel). I’ll be pushing 8k lbs so it only make sense.

    SEVENTEEN MINUTES.

But probably a little later than that. He called me and said he’s running a little behind. It was getting state inspected as of 40 min ago and needs to get detailed before being brought over.
