No, that plane belongs to a local outfitter. This one's mine,

You ever make it near Palmer? My buddy is always asking me to drop him off places to hunt.

Alaska? No, the only place I've ever been in Alaska is Barter Island when I worked in the NWT. The plane and I are in northwestern Ontario in the Lake of the Woods area. The lake spans from Ontario to the north, Minnesota to the south, and Manitoba to the west.

Apologies, I thought I had remembered you mentioning Alaska in the flying thread.
I’m just a jot away in NE South Dakota.

No worries! If you’re ever in the area, drop in for a coffee and an airplane ride. It likely won’t see skis again until I retire in about 12 years. Not enough free time, and warm enough days to make worthwhile.

First time cruising the forums since I sold my tacoma. I saved an 06 Tundra that was set to go to the junkyard a month or two ago. The guy had a stroke and it sat for about three years then he passed away. The sister and her husband were tired of it sitting in the driveway and it needed things to be inspected and they just didn’t want to put any money into it. When they said it was going to the junkyard I knew I had to save it. I put a rear bumper, new windshield, diff seal, and a power steering line also a ton of elbow grease to get the algae and mold and everything else that was on the outside. The inside was sealed up good so no problems there. When I put a battery charger on it, she fired up like it was driving the day before, changed all the fluids and it will be on the road in the next week or two.

After searching for years, I just purchased a 2001 Tundra SR5 with 135K and topper. The paint is good as it gets for 22 years. Most Gen 1 Tundras have 2x the mileage in Colorado. Pristine Gen 1s are bringing big $ on BaT

    Tundra 1.jpg

Q: Like to install the 2003-2006 OEM Tundra 17" Grey dual spoke wheels on this 2001 Gen 1. The wheels installed are Gen 2 Tacoma 17" wheels with 30mm offset.

The Tundra 17" have 15mm offset. Let me know if you have experience with this "rad" wheel swap.
