Hey guys sorta new around here and a total novice, but learning. I have these wheels that are factory from an FJ Cruiser and I plan on throwing these on my 03 PreRunner Tacoma V6 2wd as a placeholder, until I can afford better wheels. I really want to get KO2s and will do some light off-roading, but will mainly be on the road. I know my truck's not a 4x4, but that conversion will happen down the line. My question is - do you guys think I can run 285/75/R16 or 265/75/R16 on these wheels? I'm not too sure about the specs on these wheels, so I don't know too much on the backspacing. Any help/advice is truly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

You can easily measure the back spacing with a tape measure and a straight edge.

Lay the straight edge on the back side of the rim to contact two edges. Measure from the wheel mount face to the straight edge. You now have the back space. Most wheels are set on Metric dimensions. To convert from inches to millimeters multiply the inch by 25.4.

Flip them over. The specs are on the back. Post pic of them and we can determine for ya.

They look like Tacoma sr5 not fj rims.

fj never had 16” like that

285 will fit but 265 is ideal

If you want a bigger wheel, the 2nd Gen has a 17" wheel. The wheel, as stock, accepts a 265/65-17 tire. Some will up to a 265/70-17.

Here is a pic of the wheels. These have been restored and painted, since this picture.. Stock they are a painted silver aluminum.
