I filed the day after I retired and officially off orders and term leave. they told me i was "double dipping" and was ineligible every fucking time I call them, I get hung up on or the lines are busy AF. I gave up.

So , I have been lurking on this thread for some time now, when I was still in the military and in the PNW, a fellow soldier turned me onto crypto. IN fact, I even bartered to receive payment in the form on LTC. I got a ledger, bought some BTC , ada and so forth. He invited me to blockfi, at first it was great, the rates were good for just sitting. I could not get my account to work right so I cemailed them. well, what I did not know is that NV has some BS laws about it will not allow users of blockfi to have a fully accessed account. And I think I might know @kario too

 

Sadly, that's usually about what it takes. Sometimes you get lucky and get a human. More often then not the system just hangs up on you. When I collected at the start of COVID it took me 4 weeks to go back to work. It took CA EDD 9 weeks to get me any money. Luckily I have savings and it didn't affect my ability to pay bills. That's not the case for a lot of people though. It's a joke.

 

Yeah, I have some savings not a whole lot, wife has issues finding work during the BS as well. Still waiting for the VA to start paying up too. Been to the mental health clinic and all they wanna do is push meds. I like the herb better than the bottle lol

 

Always find it unfortunate with people's experiences with the VA. i know some people that really enjoy working there and want to do some good and enjoy helping their patients. I know it can't always be like that though

You guys gonna invite me or what? I don't have any military background, but I can tell you everything about every aircraft that's flown under the US flag.

I can also drink beer pretty good and talk all kinds of shit.

 

Of course then you'd have to live in central Mass which I would imagine is a non starter for a lot of people
