Bought my first Tacoma in July, after selling my last car in April 2020 and going without a vehicle/car payment for about 18 months or so.

Picked up the DCSB ‘21 TRD OR in Barcelona Red from a local dealership after about a 3-4 week wait for it to arrive.

    Couldn’t be happier with it!

Thus far I’ve debadged it, vinyl wrapped the roof in a gloss white, tinted the windows (a questionable %), replaced the grille and installed the raptor lights, put on RCI rock sliders (20 degree, kick out, no top plate), and removed the cigarette lighter and installed a USB-C charger and battery power display in its place.

Have an UpTop roof rack, TRUSS, and eX rack on the way. Mickey Thompson classic III wheels in 17x9, Mickey Thompson ATZp3 in 285/70/17s coming with them. Apogee front and rear steel bumpers also on the way.

Also on backorder are deaver expedition level 3 leafs for the rear, but already arrived are the Bilstein 6112 wrapped in 700lb Eibach springs, and Bilstein 5160 reservoirs for the rear, with the Bilstein UCA. I will install the whole suspension myself when the wheels, tires, and deavers arrive in the next 2-3 weeks.

    Will keep you posted!

Did you install your lift? If so, how do you like the Bilstein UCA"s?

Not yet! It has been right at 4 weeks since I ordered the Deaver rear leafs and they were on a 4-6 week backorder from bilsteinlifts.com as of 8/24.

Because the front eibach 700lb springs are so high with the 6112 on the top clips (5/6), I wanted to hold out for the whole installation so it would be close to level. I’ll hit you up and let you know how it goes as soon as the leafs arrive and I’ll put it all together.

I figure the Bilstein UCA can’t be bad, since the company is reputable… and should match up well with the 6112s.

I've been slowly trying to figure out which UCA to go with. I like these but haven't heard anything positive or negative either way. Have you?
The Bilstein reputation is worth a try though for sure.

Same, man. When I pulled the trigger on these it was just a matter of brand recognition and loyalty, than market research or reviews being available.

I was reluctant to even replace the UCA and was hoping to avoid it and just get by with the factory UCA, but when I realized these 6112s on the top notch, with those HD springs were going to be so tall, I went ahead and figured I needed to go ahead and execute that purchase, too.

One thing I’ve been able to do with the grill, I’m also hoping to do with the factory wheels/tires, and shocks and UCA, is sell them on eBay and recoup some of the cost (even though it will be very minimal). But they’re all still so fairly new they still do have some value to someone else.

I was able to sell my factory grill for $177 on eBay and recover all but about $23 out of the $200 I spent on the TRD Pro aftermarket grill.

something to think about, if you haven’t already.

    That's awesome.

I didnt put the UCA's on right away with my coil overs and I want to get the alignment and steering better and I've heard they really help.

These guys showed up today… will get mounted tomorrow (10/6/21). Mickey Thompson Classic III 17x9 wheels and 285/70/17 Baja ATZ tires. Also, my Deaver Level 3 leaf kit shipped today after a 6 week backorder from billsteinlifts.com.

Once that arrives, the whole suspension will get installed likely 10/15/21 (Bilstein 6112 w/ Eibach 700lb springs, Bilstein 5160, and Bilstein UCAs).
