Quick Question, I just bought this new Sony for my 2014 Tacoma, Does anyone have a good link for a dash kit for this in dash? Or are they universal for double dins?

They are mostly universal but vehicle specific and you will also need a plug adapter and, if you have steering wheel controls you’re gonna need a steering wheel control adapter

Welcome aboard. check out crutchfield, they sell the adapter harnesses and make the wiring fool proof. They likely also have a trim kit like metra, or scosche that will work with your head unit.

I used the scosche one also. Had the Metra, and it rattled horribly..

No problem. Crutchfield have excellent tech support so I would definitely give them a call regarding the back up camera hookup. OEM camera works off 6V not 12V but I see guys here have little issues making it work. I can't comment on it since my '05 didn't come with a backup cam. I had to add front and rear aftermarket 12V cams when I upgraded my HU.

Hope that has as good of instructions as the crutchfield one, you have to cut and splice some wires. I may have my old instructions around if you need them

definitely go crutchfield & STAY AWAY from the Metra console kit...that's the way I went & I had to stuff foam all around the inside & push it all in to keep it all from rattling...I also had to tape foam around the inside of the back where the radio display goes bc/ of a gap...

I did exactly this with the XAV 5500 and the Schoche bezel is a better fit.
