    I've told this one before, but hey...

    Not long after we got hitched, I took the Lovely, Sainted and Formidable Mrs Gritto to the rifle range.
    We shot at targets with several firearms.
    Then I pulled out my .50 cal flintlock.
    BTW, once upon a time, Pennsylvania Muzzleloader season was flintlock only...and in my opinion, it should have stayed that way. :mad:

    Anyway, I shot it once [pssst BAWOOM] and Mrs Gritto said:
    "My turn now."
    I said:
    "Are you sure? This has a curved steel buttplate and kicks like a mule."
    Mrs Gritto:
    "Pffft! Load it."
    Me:
    "Okaaaay."

    You know what's next, don't you?

    She hit a bullseye at 100 yards, while mine was barely on the paper.
    Mrs Gritto:
    "I win." :humble:
    Me:
    [grumbles]

    Mrs Gritto grew up in Johnstown, PA and is the daughter of a steelworker.
    She has 2 brothers who are big hunters.
