Just starting to wrap this project up now.

It took me a while to learn how to do this all myself so it's not pretty by any means.

Really didn't trust the CH4x4 switch panel at all for anything other than a toggle so I just ran them to relays.

100 amp breaker, 6 slot fuse box and 6 gang switch.

I will be fixing the ground and power wires and that should be all I have left to be able to throw it in.

Will post more pictures of it installed tonight or later.

Are you wiring to ignition? That’s the part that I still second guess. Doesn’t seem clean to me to use a add a fuse but I’m not sure how else to do it. Besides a wire tap.

I'll be tapping the fuse box for 1 wire that goes to a relay and switches on the ch4x4 box itself.

Other than that everything is pictured and won't drain power unless I want it too.

The more expensive switches like this such as the spod or switch pros are fully contained.

    I just don't want to spend 600$

I spent about 100$ all together on this.

    Scrap aluminum, wire I had.

I only spent money on the ch4x4 switch
    Bluesea fusebox and breaker

I can't find a lot of info on that CH4x4 switch panel. I can make some guesses based on the price - did you ever get this installed, and what are your impressions of the switch panel?

I wouldn't mount the relays like that. They might get water in them.

I'll start by saying that if you can afford the switchpro or spod just buy those, It's way better built and you won't have to do a bunch of relays like I had to do.
Plus it doesn't drain your battery like this one does if you have it on all the time since the LED lights stay on constantly if there is power too it.

The relays getting wet aren't a huge deal since they are all fused to make sure nothing is gonna blow up or catch fire.

It doesn't get wet up there near the master cylinder anyways at least in my truck.

I'd take picture but it's a total clusterfuck in there since I need to get my battery wires trimmed to the correct size.
I just bought the ones from Tractor Supply as a temporary solution.

biggest thing i'd suggest is keeping it on a master switch for it's power through a relay and not an ignition on switch.

so you can turn them on whenever you want, since the LED lights stay on always it will drain your battery, That or accept that it will turn on all lights at once when you turn on the truck.
