98 2.4l 5 bolt wheels. I need brake pads and rotors, there is vibration in my pedal. There are so many different ones I don't know what to get. We have very wet winters here in Oregon, I want good ones for my main vehicle but it seems I can pay anywhere from $40 to $250? What do people recommend?

You'll want a wheel bearing service while you do the brakes and it will help prevent future issues as well.

Don't cheap out, the shit metal in the 20$ rotors always come back complaining of pulsations.

I would suggest any of the daily driver brands on rock auto, the best performance for you would be power slot rotors

    something like this for standard

I just installed these on my truck today. I got them from rockauto, don't remember how much they were. After bedding them in I'm impressed with how well they work.

Bought Raybestos pads and coated rotors for mine a couple of years ago. Good so far.

Toyota uses Akebono for 4Runners and Land Cruisers. That's what I use.

You have to remove the hub and bearings to replace the rotor so you might as well do bearings at the same time. My right side inner bearing was broken when I took it apart...
