Going back and forth over which suspension to upgrade to. The TRD lift kit seems like a great option, however as it stands Toyota is stating it is not available for the DCLB... Why? And do you think that dealers will sell this directly w/out requiring it to be dealer installed?

I had this installed on mine a month ago. I like it and it looks great. If you are looking to do this yourself there are much cheaper/better options. Main reason to go for this kit is that it maintains your factory warranty and is compatible with TSS only after the dealer re-calibrates the sensors. Due to the higher front end, they put on a TRD pro grill that has its sensor relocated to accommodate. I also read it’s not available for the DCLB and I don’t really know why sorry but doubt the dealership would install it so again, probably not the right leveling kit for your truck.

Keeping warranty is a plus. I have the extended warranty.
