    My BIL went through the surgery today. Part of the gallbladder had died already. It was my sister (his wife) who’s a psychiatric nurse that recognized the symptoms and convinced the attending to run blood tests and an ultrasound to confirm her suspicions. I don’t think they would have figured this out without her being his advocate. We’ll see how he does.

    this May, my dad had his GB removed after a diagnosis of pretty much the same thing, caught almost in the same way by a nurse when he was in the hosp for a hip injury. Despite losing some weight, he has fully recovered!!!

    here is hoping that your BIL follows the same road!! It can happen. Healing vibes and prayers sent his way!!

    @Hardscrabble thanks, it was a fun trip. I’ve stayed at Vogel years ago when my son was in Boy Scouts. It was nice back then and I was very happy to see it was even better now. Site #79 was great! Parking pad for a 25’ camper and a 2 level deck/tent platform.
