Hey guys I just got done installing my supercharger last night and when I started it everything seemed good and normal idle.

Fast forward to this morning, weather was pretty cool, but it started up and idled at around 2k then slowly came down to 1500 even when it was pretty much at temp per the dash gauge. I had to drive to work so stuck it in gear and noticed the truck would pull as if the throttle was engaged. After a 10min hwy run it still idled at 1050.

I know for a fact it idled below 1k before the supercharger install and today is the first fresh morning I turn it on but 2k seemed excessive.

The truck did idle lower so it doesn't seem like a vacuum leak. I checked all hoses which seemed fine. I did clean the TB when it was off, I wonder if I might've messed with some adjustment OR if the ECU is just learning new parameters.

2012 4.0 TRD supercharger with unichip piggy back.

Any ideas? Should I just drive it awhile and see if it changes? Wait til it's warm outside to try it again? Am I just over reacting? Lol any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if you figured this out but sounds like a vacuum leak. I had similar issue with pinched o ring on the intercooler lid.

    things to check
    - bolt in between coolant hoses is tight
    - may be good to remove all the IC cover bolts and check seal. It should be seated in the groove and some RTV in front straight part to seal. I like to put all the bolts in loose to ensure alignment then cross patter tighten to spec.
    - check valve cover hose to intake is snug I swapped out the spring clamp
    For some Constant tension clamps
    - under S/C is PCV valve to intake runner, I also put tension clamps on those
    - on back of s/c is the pressure valve, it has a hose that should have good seal
There’s only one other hose that is in vacuum is on the intake runner to fuel breather

also check the Throttle body seal. If you’re running a spacer you’ll want a paper seal or RTV on the spacer/TB surface. I custom cut some paper gasket material and works fine
